Had to decorate a couple of areas.

So much still to do, but I had to play with the statue from John's family home, clock and a flower in a corner and at the entrance the Korean chest the painting of the girls and my drums, the Japanese mahjong box and my little New Zealand goddess. My little arrangements do make it feel a tiny bit like home. I have got a lot done, but so much more to do. Have a horrible feeling I am having a sinus problem, I presume my immune system is playing up, I hope not.

We are in

I have never felt so tired. The virus I have is not helping as I can only do a bit at a time. It is a bit like camping. I have no idea where most of my clothes are but I did find my underpants. No saucepans. Just enough crockery to use. I don't know when this will be straight but we do have a bed but no TV. Just wish I could get a clear run at things but have felt too I'll. Tomorrow may be better. Wouldn't have managed it without my daughter Tabby and family.

A bit more around the garden.

Yesterday a quick trip to see a doctor as I was still feeling unwell. I know a few of the nurses in the surgery, friends of my children. A conspiracy and I was wizzed of for an ecg, blood pressure, blonod taken, etc. All OK and told I probably had a virus that had attacked my middle ear. Nothing to be done, rest and get over it. Huh!! I do feel marginally better today and have worked very hard. Moved into the kitchen. On another topic, around the garden. Some irises are out and the view across the orchard looks good. So tired, still so much to do but one float load is in the shed at the rental. It is trying g to rain

I found time for a quick walk around the garden.

In between packing!! Sometimes I don't ever think I will get there but slowly rooms are clearing. We get the keys for the shed on I think after 3pm on Tuesday, so tired I can't remember and the keys for the house on Thursday at 9 am. Settlement for the farm is noon on Friday. Oh this is all next week. Will I survive until then. Stuff in the garden is looking lovely and had to have a short break to take photos. The paulonia is flowering, the dolichus is climbing up the native frangipani. Roses are going mad and the first flower on my new grevillia. Shocking pink ivy geranium climbing through the Grey leaved succulent.

My new foal

I am so tired and bits of me ache like they have never ached before. Not sleeping well either which is not good. This sudden burst of hot weather is not helping and the mess in the house is awful. Still I am steadily packing stuff up, wether I will know where to fins anything in future I really dont know! My cream Section B mare finally foaled late yesterday afternoon, so much better than in the night although Sarah has thank goodness been keeping a watchful eye on things. A lovely big chestnut colt by Imperial Matisse from Rivington Sunday best. I would have liked a cream filly but you get what you are given and just so long as they are both fit and well. Bit of a quandry to keep him as a colt or geld and give him a saddle career at this stage. See how he grows out. Back to packing.

Too tired to blog much

This is the joey that my granddaughter reared, now with a joey of her own in the pouch. I hafve been packing up all day after a tiring day in Adelaide yesterday. I find this injection in my tummy makes me a bit sore and uncomfortable. Still I managed a shop this morning and then more getting stuff in boxes. Tab out taking more of the garden with her and some of my hens. I will miss them.

An omen perhaps?

Yesterday the lovely flowers on my wisteria, this morning a look at the beach, signed a lease on a house, hope we are doing the right thing and then the weather turned nasty and the tree and the wisteria all came down in a heap. We had been a bit worried that the plum tree was getting over whelmed, well it certainly did. Now to clear it up. We have signed a lease on a house in the town, seems like a quiet street, a huge shed, the house not huge but I think we will manage ( after all we are supposed to be downsizing!). Cant get in until the 26th and we have to be out by midday on 27th of this month. Going to be a rush but with any luck we will both survive until then.

Yesterday, a walk and around the garden

today I spent feeling so tired and packing up boxes, and more boxes. T and J over and packing stuff from the garden (pots) into the float and other stuff. Sick of feeling tired but I only have about 4 more rooms to go, well it may be more but if I can get most rooms done and packed in about 2 days perhaps I will get there. Looking at more houses tomorrow. so tired i can hardly thing.

Wisteria near the back door, and another birthday

They seem to come around with monotonous regularity. Birthdays I mean. Out for a lovely dinner at the beach hut home early but it has been another busy day. Flowers in the garden have never been better, love this wisteria.

A bit more of the garden.

Something to look back on. A busy few days, our oldest son came over from Melbourne with his son and our grandson. They helped with packing although he kept telling me there is still an awful lot to be done, don't I know it. I don't know if or when w will know where we will be living. I do hope it is soon.
